I am a digital gardener, father, and husband living in Denmark, and as of this year, father of three. Which means "digital gardener" now competes with referee, short-order chef, and full-time Ponyo DJ for most accurate job title. By day, I navigate the complexities of IT solutions and live servers, these days that mostly means cybersecurity, threat hunting, defensive architecture, the whole relentless booming mess of it. By night, once the house finally goes quiet, I retreat to the terminal to build, break, and explore. Mechanical keyboard included, no exceptions. Beside all this I play a shit ton of MMORPG's when life allows it, everything from FFXIV, Highspell to RS3 and WoW.
MoonPieCloud is my sanctuary. It's where I document my journey through coding, server hardening, and my fight for online anonymity. I believe that privacy is a human right, not a luxury, and I use this space to push back against the increasing surveillance of the modern web. One script, one blog entry, one small act of digital defiance at a time.
When the screen goes dark, you'll find me out with my family. Active weekends, local tournaments (my daughter placed genuinely amazing at a running event recently and I am still riding that high), and yes, Ponyo on repeat in the living room until I could recite the whole thing in my sleep. Some mornings I go back to work still half-thinking about the couch full of kids I just left, and I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything, even when it makes Mondays brutal.
I also live with a chronic throat illness that flares up a handful of times a year. It's not something I make a big deal of, it's just part of the deal. I work around it, push through when I have to, and get on with things.
The wife and I are huge foodies, we love good food and the kids are catching on, good restaurants are a given. But making food at home is a huge thing of ours, doing great food that the kids love is a treat and we spend a lot of time making food but also finding and examining recipé's.
