Spiritfarer [ CATEGORY: COZY_SIM ]

Helping the spirits cross have never felt better!

Spiritfarer is the most cozy and heartwarming game I have played in a long time! ✨

You play as Stella, sailing the seas with her adorable cat Daffodil to help spirits transition to the afterlife.

It might sound sad, but the game is actually filled with warm hugs, delicious cooking, and beautiful scenery.

The graphics look like a hand-drawn animated movie, and the music is so incredibly soothing for the soul 🎶☁️

You get to build your own massive boat, plant gardens, and truly get to know all the unique passengers.

It reminds us to take care of the ones we love and to say a proper goodbye with a big smile.

MOONPIE RATING: 10/10 HUGS!
Final Fantasy VII (1997) [ CATEGORY: JRPG ]

A cyberpunk masterpiece that changed everything!

FFVII is the reason many of us fell in love with JRPGs in the first place. It's gritty, emotional, and epic! ⚔️✨

You play as Cloud Strife, a mercenary joining the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE to fight against the corrupt Shinra Electric Power Company.

From the neon-lit slums of Midgar to the massive world map, the atmosphere is unmatched—even with those chunky polygon character models.

The Materia system is still one of the best magic systems ever created, allowing for endless customization 💎

Nobuo Uematsu's soundtrack—tracks like 'Aerith's Theme' still give me goosebumps every time.

MOONPIE RATING: 10/10 LIMIT BREAKS!
Shadow of the Colossus (2005) [ CATEGORY: ART_ACTION ]

A lonely masterpiece of scale and sorrow...

This isn't just a game; it's a deep, emotional journey through a forbidden land. 🏛️🦅

You play as Wander, a young man slaying sixteen massive Colossi to bring a girl back to life.

There are no towns, no NPCs. It's just you, your loyal horse Agro, and the wind blowing through ancient ruins.

The scale is breathtaking. Climbing up the fur of a creature the size of a skyscraper is a feeling no other game has captured.

With every Colossus that falls, you don't feel like a hero. The silence that follows is deafening.

MOONPIE RATING: 11/10 ANCIENT!
Donkey Kong 64 (1999) [ CATEGORY: PLATFORMER ]

The ultimate 90s collect-a-thon!

He's finally back! DK 64 is a massive, colorful explosion of platforming fun. 🍌🐵

You control the whole Crew: Donkey, Diddy, Lanky, Tiny, and Chunky. Each has unique abilities like the Coconut Cannon!

The worlds are huge, from Creepy Castle to Frantic Factory. Hundreds of Golden Bananas to find.

The real highlight was Multiplayer. 4-player split-screen battle mode was peak N64 gaming.

The music by Grant Kirkhope is iconic. That DK Rap? Pure 90s gold.

MOONPIE RATING: 10/10 GOLDEN BANANAS!
Diablo (1996) [ CATEGORY: ARPG ]

The dark heart of Action-RPGs!

Stay awhile and listen... Diablo perfected the "just one more floor" feeling. 🍷🔥

You start in Tristram and descend into the cathedral's depths. The deeper you go, the darker the world becomes.

Combat is simple but brutal, and the loot system is the original crack-cocaine of gaming.

Matt Uelmen’s acoustic guitar and the "FRESH MEAT!" from the Butcher are legendary horror moments.

MOONPIE RATING: 9/10 SOULS TAKEN!
